Whether Youth or Adult, registering with our pack is a multi-step process. Please follow the instructions below and submit to the Pack 444 Committee Chair at [email protected].
Note: Financial assistance programs are available for families who are not able to afford the costs associated with Scouting. If you are unable to join Cub Scouts due to costs and would like to explore financial assistance, please reach out to [email protected].

Registering Your Scout - Youth Applications

2. Participation Forms - Fill out the following forms (download and print, or e-file):
3. Submit Payment - Your payment includes all registration fees, your Scouts Handbook, Neckerchief, Scout's Life magazine subscription, Class B pack shirt, awards and a red vest for patches.

- Online Registration: Your online registration includes National and Council fees, but not pack dues. Email our Committee Chair Matt M. at [email protected] to confirm your remaining unit dues.
- Paper Registration: Cash, Check and Venmo are accepted forms of payment. If paying by check, provide a $325 check payable to "Pack 444" and bring it to the next pack meeting.

Registering As A Volunteer - Adult Applications
1. Apply Online
Register online at my.scouting.org. Select Adult and if you already have a my.scouting account, login to register. If there is a technical issue preventing you from registering, please reach out to [email protected] for assistance.
2. Complete Finger Printing & Background Checks

- Fingerprinting and background checks need to be completed to register with the pack. Our Chartered Organization (St. Bonaventure) and BSA, under California AB506, require separate fingerprinting and background checks. Both must be completed in order for your application to be approved:
- St. Bonaventure: Print these two forms and follow the instructions in the form. Fingerprinting Form, Fingerprinting Instructions. You will be reimbursed for any fingerprinting fees.
- AB506: For Background Check and Fingerprinting, follow the instructions on https://californiascouting.org/ggac/

3. Complete Training: The following trainings must be completed in order to finalize your registration.

- Required State Mandated Reporter Training for AB506: https://mandatedreporterca.com/training/volunteers. Print the certificate.
- Complete Youth Protection Training Course online at www.myscouting.org. Print the certification of completion for the youth protection training course and attach to the application for submission.
- Complete any role specific training at www.myscouting.org

4. Submit Payment and Paperwork: Gather the following elements and mail them to the following address: 4490 Clear Creek Ct. Concord, or deliver them in person by placing them in a Ziplock bag under the mat.

- Certificate of Completion for the Youth Protection Training

RETURNING SCOUTS & PARENTS
If you're returning to the Pack, please do the following to renew your child's registration (Adult leader registration renewals are covered by the pack):

- Annual Health & Medical Form A & B - Submit to the Pack 444 Committee Chair at one of the pack meetings/events.
- Provide a $300 check payable to Pack 444, cash, Venmo, or Credit Card through Scoutbook payment before December 1st (includes registration fees, Scout Handbook, Scout Neckerchief, Scout's Life magazine subscription, Class B pack shirt, awards and red vest).
