Ranks & Adventures

Every rank in scouting aims to grow and mold scouts into self-sufficient, confident, and able adults. Adventures are centralized around one of the aims of Scouting: Character, Citizenship, Personal Fitness, and Leadership. Scouts are grouped by grade into Dens for each rank to ensure the adventure requirements are are age-appropriate and fun.  Scouts will automatically advance in rank each school year. However, there are core  requirements to "earn" rank if the Scout wishes to wear the Rank Patch. Each Den works on rank specific requirements found in the Handbook either during scheduled Den Meetings, or at home.

At least one registered and trained adult leader is required per Den, though we prefer two to help with organization and den management.
